Ride Hard, Ride Often, Ride Far

Precious few feelings compare to the rush one gets as you twist the throttle, engage the clutch, and pullout onto a wide stretch of open road at the beginning of a multi-day ride.  This is especially true when your journey is one where all the details are already taken care of by experienced Road Captains, allowing you to focus on one aspect – having fun while soaking up the sights and the feel of the road.

To paraphrase an English author from a while back, anticipation is the soul of enjoyment.  You may feel a few butterflies as the adrenaline begins to flow through your veins.  This heightened state of awareness is a good thing.  Recall the last time when you were pumped up about a ride, one where the juices were flowing from the earliest planning stages, to thinking, and even dreaming about it.  Bikers Paradise's road tours are intended to maximize and maintain this feeling.

How does a typical Biker Paradise tour begin?  The first step is your commitment to scratch that riding itch and do something different this season.  You check out various options, and then settle on joining us for an upcoming tour.  Once you have sent in your contact information, you will receive a variety of mailings and email messages to foster the anticipation.

The Kick-Start reception/dinner officially opens the tour.  Some folks will fly to the rendezvous point and rent a bike while others will ride their own bike to the meeting spot.  Old friends from previous rides reunite and the new riders meet their fun-loving colleagues.

After a restful night sleep, some hot coffee and breakfast, the group begins to gather around the bikes, loading their gear, taking a few photographs as the sun gleams off the chrome, or taking a quick spin to top off their gas tanks.  The common denominator is that  everyone is wearing a smile from ear to ear.

As the departure time arrives, the Road Captains double check the route, make sure everybody is set to go and provide a brief overview of the day to augment the route sheets.  The "two minute warning" is given, and the riders position themselves in the formation, the Road Captain signals it is time to roll.  The sound of thunder fills the air, and once again the adrenaline flows, the smiles grow wider, and the journey begins.

En route the group has a good time and enjoys the highlights of the road, balancing group activities with individual pursuits.  After the allotted number of days, the group returns to the rendezvous spot.  You will have a shared experience that you will remember for a lifetime, a real "Biker's Paradise."
